New Flaxwood.com opened!

Greetings from the NAMM convention in Anaheim, CA, and welcome to the new, updated Flaxwood.com!
To commemmorate the new 2007 line of Flaxwood Guitars, we have given our site a true facelift and visual makeover. Quite a few changes have been made; in designing the new site we have attempted to make it as easy to navigate as possible and all information on our instruments more accessible than before.
Most notably, to coincide with the new year, our guitars were rechristened with new, Finnish names - names which we feel more strongly reflect each model's true personality and their Finnish roots. The old RZZ model was named the Liekki, the old Blacksmith was named the Vasara, the old Fairlane was named the Laine, and the old REC was named the Voima. The Rautia model, named after our master luthier Veijo Rautia, still bears the same name as before. No other modifications have been made to the models besides the names.
In addition, Flaxwood Guitars unveil a new model, the Aija. Be sure to check the models page for more details.
Our entire 2007 line can be heard in action in either our Models or Downloads page, thanks to two extraordinary Finnish guitar maestros, Timo Kamarainen and Tuomas Wainola, who recorded sound files to use on the site to give you a more tangible idea of the Flaxwood sound.
For any suggestions on the website, questions on our guitars and whatever you may or may not have on your mind, don't hesitate to e-mail us at info@flaxwood.com or jussi@flaxwood.com. We'll answer your questions as quickly as possible.
Other than that, if you're around Anaheim, California, from January 18th through the 21st, you are most welcome to drop by our booth (E1168) at the NAMM Convention, enjoy a drink and most importantly, give our new 2007 line a spin.

Thank you for the kind words, Farid. Stick around for a full NAMM journal, I'll put it up once I'm done writing it. The convention was very successful for Flaxwood, so things are looking positive. Stay tuned!

I'm almost done with my NAMM journal also and I have even more good news from a trip to Nashville that saw some of the top session playuers in the world swooning over the flaxwoods.
