04.03.2008: Flaxwood USA is born

A company called Flaxwood USA has now been formed and will become the corporate presence for Flaxwood in North America, effective immediately.

A strong presence on the US market has always been our highest priority, and the formation of a US company has been envisioned for some time now. This year's NAMM show gave us such an amazing boost that we finally had to go ahead with the formation immediately; the company is now registered.

English expat Gordon Roberts is our US point man, an experienced industry veteran whom we have had the pleasure of knowing for some time now. This is an exciting chapter in the Flaxwood story, and we're looking forward to increased involvement with the US at all levels, especially the musical one (duh...). We are excited and proud to be present "on our own feet" in a country with an ever-vibrant and captivating musical scene, and such a unique and centrally important musical legacy.

Did I mention we also hope to sell a lot of guitars in the USA?
We believe the US is THE place to launch important innovations in music, and that's why we're here to stay.

All in all we all think this is sooo cool, hopefully American shredders agree.
