09.06.2009: The Flaxwood Liekki wins Gear Award in Premier Guitar magazine

"This really means a lot to us, we're over the moon. For a small company from Eastern Finland to garner such recognition from such a prestigious and widely read publication?" marketing manager Kim Lerche smiles.

 

"We have so far obviously been a clear underdog on the US market: a small foreign guitar company, with a guitar carrying enough innovation onboard to scare off the faint-hearted, coming to the world's biggest guitar market where the competition is ruthless... well, let's just say that it has not always been easy sailing. Thus, we take this PG review and award as another strong confirmation that we have not strived in vain. Our product is already increasingly being noted and appreciated by players for its overall quality and its surprisingly vintage tone appeal, which has attracted vintage-tone endorsers like Dean Parks, George Marinelli and Les Dudek among others.
