24.06.2010: Flaxwood in Nashville

We were thrilled when the fantastic Vince Gill (who sadly, lost a large part of his vintage guitar collection in the recent floods) sat down and played the heck out of an Redburst Liekki and also tried our brand-spanking new "Haarii Special" Model. Needless to say, he sounded great and the combination of the neck position P-90 and two regular single coils produced all the classic sounds we're used to hearing from him.

We also had a few visits from endorsee George Marinelli, still playing and loving his two Flaxwoods out on the road with the great Bonnie Raitt. 

 The legendary James Burton (proud owner of a Goldtop Liekki) dropped by for a chat before heading off to play Muriel Anderson's All-Star Guitar Night Concert at the Wild Horse Saloon.

The most surprising visitor was 60's icon John Sebastian, who sat down and picked some mighty fine finger-style ragtime and blues.

Sonic adventurer Reeves Gabrels from David Bowie's band and Tin Machine said he was very impressed by our instruments.

Our Nashville buddy Jeff King hung out some too. Jeff, along with Jim Kimball, both play Flaxwoods when they're touring with Reba McEntire.

All in all, it was a great show and we hope to see you in January in Anaheim!
